R. sericea f.glandulosa
Deciduous shrub, 1 to 2m high, sparse
winged aculei (sometimes dense needles)
along the shoot. Publescent and
glandular-haired leaf back. single
axillary flower, 2.5 to 5cm, white.
Obovate or round fruit, red or red with
violet, 8 to 15 mm. Flowering: June to
Aug. Fruiting: Aug to Sept. Light and
moisture tendency, poorness tolerance.
Tibetan endemic. Middle-south Tibet, 2600
to 4200m, forestedge scrub and floodplain
scrub.
