Prunus mira Deciduous
little tree. 4 to 10m high. Lanceolate or
ovate lanceolate leaf. 1 to 2 flowers, 2
to 2.5 cm, pink to white. Rotund fruit,
3¡«4 cm; ovate elliptic core,
compressed, smooth. Flowering: Mar to Apr.
Fruiting: July to Aug. Heliophiles,
tolerant to drought. Sinoendemic. South to
east Tibet. 2600 to 4000m.
Theropencedrymion. Southwest China.
