R. lepidotum Evergreen
little shrub.0.5 to 1m tall. Leaves
obovate, lanceolate or obovate ellipitc. 1
to 3 terminal flowers, purple, red, pink
to reddish white, rarely yellow.
Flowering: July to Aug. Heliophilous, from
south to southeast Tibet, 2700 to 3700 m,
thickets on slopes or forestedges.
Northwest Yunnan, west Sichuan, south
Asia.
