Arisaema elephas Perennial herb, with spherical root; leaf blade trisect. Flower basally yellow-green; white veined tube, upperly disappeared and deep purple iinstead. Flowering: May to June. Warm and humid tendency, cold and shade tolerant, not tolerant to drought. Sinoendemic. South to southeast Tibet, 1800 to 4000 m, forest or forest meadow, thickets. Yunnan, Sichuan and Guizhou.
